Very somber experience. There's not a lot of time allowed at the memorial, but this should not be missed. Worth checking out Ford Island as well. Full review by Brian G

Hi and thank you for your service!! We bought tickets online months before hand and then took a "Lyft" ride from our hotel in Waikiki Beach to Pearl Harbor. Obviously, you can also take a taxi if you want. Remember you have to purchase your "boat" tickets in advance and then you line up at the same place where the museum is at Pearl Harbor. Plenty of signage to guide you around. It is a very moving experience.

I checked the Pearl Harbor (nps.gov) website and it appears things continue to be open. I would note that if you get tickets at the Memorial site, they are frequently less expensive than getting them through other venues. You can also buy "packages" at the site as well since there are other things to see (e.g. USS Missouri, a submarine, etc.)
